Ann McGlade - Artist From her early days as a graduate of the High School for the Industrial Arts (now known as the School of Art and Design) in Manhattan, New York, Ann McGlade has enjoyed decades of artistic growth and exploration. Prior to settling into her current residence in Saint Augustine, Florida several years ago, McGlade lived in Eugene, Oregon and New York City with extensive travels throughout the USA and to diverse art-rich venues such as Israel, Spain, Greece, France, Italy, England, Australia, Tahiti, Mexico, and Caribbean. These travels were both motivational and instructive, and fueled McGlade’s creative flow. Displaying uncommon energy, McGlade’s artistic trajectory is now increasingly recognized. Her paintings are represented in numerous private collections and have been shown in major exhibitions and juried art shows throughout the United States. In 2011, McGlade’s paintings have been exhibited in the Cummer Museum of Art in Jacksonville, Florida and the International Museum of Contemporary Masters of Fine Art in San Antonio, TX.
